Profit Tools has a great product for the (Intermodal) Trucking Industry and a very extensive and informative web site. Before bringing QA Computer Consulting on board, their web site was practically invisible to all the major Search Engines, like Google. Without making any substantial changes to the look and feel of their web design, we were able to fine-tune the HTML code to serve up all the key words and phrases in every possible spot a SE spider would look and we changed or added visible text so the content would contain the proper ratio of key words to total words.

For further Search Engine friendliness, we added in a Google sitemap and an ROR sitemap. ROR is a rapidly growing XML format for describing any object on a website (sitemaps, products, services, menus, images, reviews, contact info, business info, etc), so any Search Engines can better understand its content.

With Google Sitemaps we helped Google automatically keep informed of all the Profit Tools web pages, and when changes to these pages were made to help improve coverage during the Google crawl. Sitemaps helped increase the visibility of the Profit Tools web pages with Google and all other Search Engines.

Finally, we submitted the Profit Tools URL to many important Search Engines, including free submissions and a select number of pay-for-submission sites. Within just a few weeks their rankings on the most sought-after key words and phrases showed an astronomical leap onto the first or second page of search results with even a few number-one rankings.
